Here's a few pics from my presentation and Interview at this years CTN. Had loads of fun sharing some of my techniques and such a great opportunity it was to see all that talent under one roof!! Thanks to Tina Price and all the organizers that did such a terrific job in setting up such a great place to network and share ideas! Cant wait for CTNx 2015 :)
My first 'commercial' I worked on with
Production Designer Ged Clarke (an amazing, amazing PD) last year. It
turned out pretty good! I did some PS composite painting for the street
theater and carousel in the BG
Here's a re-design I did of the most commonly found vehicle in Mumbai called an 'Auto'.Still wanted to give it a retro feel by keeping all the elements that make an auto rickshaw and added my own twist of how I see this vehicle slowly evolve.
I was watching Moby Dick over the weekend and since I've already been doing some paintings dealing with whales, I decided it would be a good idea to do one with Ahab hunting for his White whale. Great movie from the 50's and clearly very inspiring! :)
This painting was inspired from a Planet Earth Documentary I was watching a few days back. A story about a mother and her calf making a 3000 mile journey to the Arctic. The whole thing was so beautifully shot I decided to do something on those lines. Cheers~
Last month I did a workshop on designing and building a Sci-Fi Bike for
ImagineFX. Glad to see it published in this months Issue! Grab a copy at
your local book store or online at ImagineFX Store
