Mumbai '2050' - Rough 3D sketches

   Just some rough 3D sketches of what Mumbai in the year '2050' could look like.

- The truck runs on Bio-Waste collected from the streets of Mumbai. This Bio-waste collected is then treated within the truck itself to produce fuel to run the vehicle.

- I re-designed the Rickshaw to have (4) wheels instead of the usual (3) wheeler design which provides for a more sturdy look to the vehicle.

- The local trains now run as monorails throughout the city's air network.

A quick update on what I've been upto for the past few weeks and a few sundays! I've had the privilege of being a part of an upcoming book called 'Nuthin' but Mech'. This book includes some very well known artists in the industry today. Along with some of my finished designs I've also included some initial SketchUp passes of my work. Its been a pleasure working on this book and I hope all of you enjoy seeing all the new mech designs we've put together! This was a fun concept to do.I used Sketch Up as my base for a paint over.I initially used Mental Ray to render this design but I like the rough texture overlays on Photoshop CS3 much better for the gritty look.
